HS Hoops...St Johns vs Central tonight...Prediction

Tonight St John's squares off against Central Catholic(7:45pm at the Garden) for rights to move to the final four of division one hoops in Mass. We here at the BBB would like to congratulate both teams for making it this far. My prediction is that Central will prevail. Carson Desrosiers is just too much. St Johns Prep has Pat Connaughton(the Catholic division MVP) averaging 25 a game and torched Central for 26 last outing but I don't think he's going to put up those numbers again. Coach Rick Nault had this to say to the Eagle Tribune...

"We always approach games like we're going to create matchup problems," said Nault. "But our focus is totally changed. This kid did to us what really no kid has done to us in the last 2-3 years."
"He's a matchup problem," said Nault. "You just can't put a guard on him and you just can't put a big on him, so we're game-planning. We have to change a little bit."

I think Central will change it up and put the clamps down on Connaughton. Desrosiers has a big game and Central cruises to the final four. If you could lay money on HS hoops this would be the game to lay it on Central.
